This experiment to analyze animal life in outer space and examine how live ants successfully tunnel in microgravity.
The replacement translucent gelatin contains nutrients to encourage sizeable growth in the new Ant colony. See them survive, solve problems and tunnel in the organic and non-toxic gel as they make elaborate series upon series of complicated tunnels.

Nobody could believe it when the Fascinations Antworks antw1 first came out.  The ants work and actually eat the gel and live off of it so you don't need to feed or water them.  Guess what that means?  One less household chore for the parents!!

This Fascinations ant habitat was a hit the minute they were released and comes in a variety of colors including the Red, Green and Blue . 

Each ant hill is ready for your ants colony to begin the tunneling process.  Sorry no Queen ants come with these kits.
