Can Flying Ants Bite You?

Most ant species can in fact bite you in the line ants that you see out there are generally carpenter ants and they can inflict some pain.

The carpenter ants will inject formic acid inside cause a well that is approximately the size of a small fee and it can take quite a few days for it to dissipate.

If you clean the area thoroughly with soap and water and apply the medicated cream on the open bite. This may help the pain subside, but you may still be itching for quite a few more days as your body is trying to heal the area.

Even though this is a painful bite by the carpenter and it is not considered a venomous species.
